Fantastic open air 23 metre swimming pool set on the edge of the river with plenty of parking. Open from end of May to September.

Came across this place when looking for a campsite we had reserved quite nearby. Was drawn the fact it had an outdoor pool and location was amazing xx on further investigation and enquiries we were booked in by a lovely lad and his duty manager ( canx our other booking elsewhere ( sorry don’t have names for who was on duty but date was 20/06/26) they were very accommodating, polite and professional. They assisted with all enquiries and nothing was too much trouble. On using the lido, again I was given courtesy and politeness by the female life guard on duty. The area was clean and tidy as was the pool itself .. I did note that when the same young lad was on life guard duty a little later , a father of a young child was very rude and abrupt ( totally unnecessary) yet the lad remained patient and professional when reminding him of pool etiquette and rules. The campsite is clean and tidy with enough facilities for the amount of users and to be honest maybe I shouldn’t shout about all this too loud as it truly is a hidden gem. We went for a walk along the river and passed by the splash park which looked lovely. I will be back , the grandchildren will love it. I understand the managers name is Becca ( I think ) and I had the pleasure of meeting her today. Well done to her and all of her team , and what a great place ! I shall be booking in again very soon. Went on a hot Friday and it wasn’t as busy as expected. The splash pad is lots of fun for children and is clean. We also went to the pool which was a good price. Changing rooms clean with lockers for £1. The pool is relatively small but wasn’t too busy. Was fun but the pool felt really cold (others in the pool saying the same) and the chlorine was strong. Nice afternoon out though!

I stopped in here on a long drive and had booked for a lane swim via the Better app at £6.80, which is relatively cheap for this operator. Plenty of paid parking on site and a lovely location. Staff were really helpful. Changing rooms were basic but relatively clean (nice touch having the mirrors in the changing cubicles), with 2 toilets, outdoor warm showers, and lockers (£1 refundable). All good so far, but the pool itself was a let down. It's realatively small and it was really packed for the lane swim, and not especially clean (lots of hair, leaves, insects). It was also quite strongly chlorinated - my eyes were stinging by the time I got out. After this I went 10 miles down the road to Abbey Meadows outdoor pool - same operator, same price, a far superior and more enjoyable lane swim. I know where I'll be going in future!

A very good campsite, clean, secure, grassed level pitches, modern facilities, hot showers and just 5 mins walk into town. The campsite is quietly situated down a small lane off the main road and backing onto the River Thames. The river is accessible from the campsite and a brilliant spot for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. The campsite is also part of a complex that has its own outdoor heated swimming pool. We shall definitely come again.
