Walworth Garden completed some work for our church St Mary Abbots remaking a staff cottage garden to be child friendly. Of the 3 who we asked to quote they were the only ones who turned up on time and were available by telephone as well as email. They did an absolutely fantastic job - they worked through the heatwave and kept us informed as the job progressed. I cannot recommend them more highly. AND they also operate a charity providing training for young people who seek entry into the industry and more.

A real gem. Walworth Garden is more than just a plant centre — it’s a peaceful, welcoming space filled with greenery, greenhouses, and a real sense of community. You can wander through for free, browse a lovely selection of plants, or just sit and enjoy the calm. Everything is well cared for and beautifully presented. It’s clear the team here put heart into what they do. A special place that supports biodiversity and brings people together. We loved our visit, it made us really happy.

This place is a true oasis of peace and tranquillity amidst the hustle of London. Tucked away near Kennington, this community garden is a haven of lush greenery and vibrant plants. The staff are wonderfully warm and welcoming, creating a genuinely inviting atmosphere. They offer engaging courses that are perfect for anyone looking to learn or unwind. It’s an absolute gem of a spot to relax and reconnect with nature.

After a short course with the fantastic Tracy, I got more even interested in gardening, the land. Tracy's depth of understanding of serious environmental concerns and how to work with nature, not for superficial short term, was inspiring. Down to earth, if you'll pardon the pun. They have environmental gardening courses up to Diploma, and short workshops, one free/council+ funded for Southwark residents a year! As well great advice, landscaping + and an array of plants grown on site for sale. Very committed team too. I've got too many photos to share but a few from the last month.
