A charming little museum that gives a really interesting history of Wareham and features a wonderful collection of local artefacts from the area. It may be small, but there's a surprising amount to see and read, and we came away knowing far more about the town than when we went in. It has that lovely, slightly old-fashioned local museum feel, which I personally really enjoyed. The staff were welcoming, entry is completely free, and it's well worth popping in while exploring Wareham. Small, quaint, informative and clearly put together with a lot of care.
A small museum with a few exhibits relating to the history of Wareham and surrounding areas. Entrance is free, and it is unlikely one would want to pay for the relatively limited displays on offer. But it was still worth a brief visit.
Lovely little museum but they are moving to bigger premises so will visit again. Free entry, friendly and helpful staff, very interesting. Thank you.
Very informative little.museum about the town and it's history. A small exhibit about TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) as well.
Small museum , free entry. Lots to see and would certainly recommend a visit if you have the time 👍🏻😊
