Watford Miniature Railway is a fantastic hidden gem and a firm family favourite. The volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. The train ride is the perfect length for younger children, with lovely views of Cassiobury Park along the route. Prices are very reasonable and you can ride multiple times without it feeling repetitive. Queues move quickly and the whole experience is well organised and safe. It’s a brilliant way to add extra excitement to a park visit and create special memories. Highly recommended for locals and visitors looking for affordable, wholesome fun for all ages.

Located at Cassiobury Park, car parking allocation, very good price tickets card and cash payment, stationed opposite playground children area, paddling pools, open 7 days per week. Very close bus and overground stations to access No booking in advance no waiting to get the tours rail we really enjoyed and we happy to get all the time we will be in this area
