Great Railway experience, friendly staff, nice and clean facilities. Station and trains were clean and comfy . Food very nice !

We went today for the diesel gala and we loved it all.

Great to see the beautiful wensleydale countryside, The station master at Leeming Bar was great he had time to show us around the station and was funny with it which we enjoyed. Just feel that if they were using a more heritage traction ei class 33 that they had there rather the not that old DMU it would have given us the feeling of being back in the 60/70s and add to the day

A nice heritage railway experience with friendly volunteers and a pleasantly scenic line. Cafe and toilets available at most stations. They usually run diesels but have a nice mixture. The line is quite long so it’s a couple of hours for a round trip.

From holding their golden tickets to sipping on the delicious hot chocolate, their faces were filled with wonder and delight. Watching their eyes light up during the storytelling moments made it clear how much this experience sparked their imagination. It made them believe in the magic of Christmas so much more—it was priceless to witness.
