Visit websiteA fantastic spot to visit with family and friends! The views around Wentworth Woodhouse are absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the deer up close was a real highlight. It’s incredibly child-friendly with great play areas, and the variety of blossom bushes makes the scenery gorgeous. Highly recommended for a day out!
Lovely place to visit for a few hours. Impressive facade and rooms to explore, with gardens to wander and cake to be eaten. National Trust members get reduced price entry. Toilets clean, wheel chair accessible house and most of the gardens, and access bus from car park. Cafe does a good pot of tea, usual attraction prices. Deer roam the fields and children can make mud pies in the wooded gardens. Even has 5G network better than home!!! Staff friendly and informative and there are guided talks around the building. Once you've picniced and zonked the kids out theres an amazing garden centre nearby (pricey) and antiques centres to fill the day.
I had an incredible tour of Wentworth Woodhouse—it’s absolutely stunning. I love what the Trust is doing; it’s so inspiring and uplifting. A remarkable project, with truly impressive ambition and impact on the local community and wider region.
Absolutely love this place. Lucky to see the Deer herd in the grounds. The house is beautiful and the gardens at the back is well worth accessing. The open grounds at the front are free to walk round. So much to do here and the cafe is delightful.
Helpful and friendly staff Volunteers were able to explain and provide information about our questions/enquiries. Reasonable entrance fee. The building itself was quite remarkable.the ground is huge and we cannot wait to come back again in spring. Cafe/restaurant served delicious light bites. Staff at the cafe were friendly and i appreciated a nice smile. It has a car park but it’s quite a distance. However, they have an accessible shuttle bus. Dogs allowed in the ground and cafe. Has disabled parking and toilet.
