Managed by the City of London Corporation, West Wickham Common comprises the land south of the A232 adjacent to Hayes Common to the north. On the west side it can be entered from Gates Green Road, and on the east side from Hartfield Crescent - there is a well surfaced path between these points, which forms part of the London Loop. It is quite high up, and the landscape is varied and pleasant with some impressive stands of pine trees around the site of a prehistoric settlement.

Very nice wooded trails to take a walk (especially with dogs). Can be a little muddy but can usually walk around it. Small car park also available.

I visited here in May 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a nice area for walking.

Great and amazing area for living it's like you live in big city but you feel like on country side .Nice and helpful people ,great park good shops quiet area . Good schools . If I can choose where to live at London this will be my choice .highly recommended.

Another regular dog walking route for us, with easy parking and plenty of paths for a quick stroll or something a little longer. The woods are very photogenic, so take a camera.
