Small museum worth popping up into. Rooftop was closed when I was there so I couldn’t appreciate the views. My favourite parts were the ceiling ‘water’ paintings and prisoner graffiti carved into the stone.

Great to visit and amazing historical value but a bit empty. Definitely recommend buying the pair of ticket, The Great Hall with the Gate as its much more cheaper.

Hidden gem! Lovely friendly staff. Great vide from the roof over Winchester High Street pointing out the historical significance of local landmarks. Great value with the Great Hall ticket

A wonderful little museum. They offer combination tickets with other heritage sites and museums in Winchester, and 50% off with Art Pass. I spent about 45 minutes here, mostly trying to decode old graffiti in the walls and Tudor panelling originally from a different building, though they have a lovely collection on display as well. Fantastic staff
