A lovely reserve you could spend all day enjoying, we certainly did. We heard the bitten and spotted many different birds including numerous sightings of the Marsh Harrier. Plus if you are also into insects, come on a warm sunny day and you will spot some wonderous little creatures.

What a lovely place. So much wildlife here. We saw loads of 4 spot chasers, beautiful demoiselles and blue damsel flys. Not so many birds but then we had forgotten our binoculars! But we did see coots, moorhens, heron, Cormorants and heard loads of birds in the reeds that we couldn't see. Just a great place.

Nice place to walk, l can't say peaceful as cyclists on an organised run! Why cycle through a nature reserve? It's possible to find a peaceful areas off the beaten track where they can't go!
