It has trees 🌳:-) Beautiful park, meticulously cared for by Tractor Tref, hidden away in the shadow of Toddbrook dam.

Beautiful park, lots of areas to sit and watch the world go by. The River Goyt flows all the way through it. Well maintained and great for dogs too.

Excellent park at the best of times but the remembrance tribute this year is very special.

Disappointing! I took my two girls (9yrs +11yrs old) out to visit a few parks we wouldn't usually go to, just to see what was out there and for a change of scenery. On Google places it looked lovely but the reality wasn't so great. Exiting the car and walking over to the play area the grounds look great, well maintained and the river running down one side or the park but then as you enter the play area... The grounds hadn't been maintained in a while grass above knee height on my daughters, bins overflowing and litter blown everywhere. As we had made the journey I said "to go have a play and I'll look up somewhere else to move onto" Minutes later the girls are waiting to leave because they had found many apparatus damaged or even missing. Needless to say we left to find a cleaner/better place to enjoy.

Bloody lovely! Flooded, mind. But still fantastic. Don't go there right now, as the dam may burst & you'd be rather wet, or dead. But that business aside & as soon as it's sorted, it's a Great, quiet little park/memorial. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO NOW!! (2ND OF AUGUST, AS THERE IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO LIFE!)
