Extremely interesting clay pottery. I really loved the history walk around the old production process, and so much of it was 'working' that it really came to life! Beautiful setting as well and friendly staff.

I have seen some big holes in my time but this one definitely takes the biscuit! Nice little museum detailing the history of mining china clay and the process behind it. The short walk up to the pit view is definitely worth it.

Very much worth a visit, not too busy, great story of clay industry in Cornwall, china clay and mining pits. Great football ages, with an intimate exhibition space that feel informative and accessible. Incredible to see a combination of natural beauty, mining industry history and present day. You could easily spend the whole day here. There's an outdoor music instrument play area, requires a little tlc but still one of our favourites as we haven't seen any other attraction offering a similar outdoor nature music space. A must visit place if you are in the area. Lovely cafe (and cakes) too.
