Wonderful little place. Spent a full day here. On entry you are greeted by the most friendly staff members who had a bit of banter with us before giving us our wristbands. Then once through the whole place is free to explore. The little train ride is the highlight and the driver we had was amazing at getting the children hyped up for the ride. All staff are very friendly, opening and closing gates for you and I feel would help in anyway necessary. We ended up spending the full day here and before we knew it they were almost closing. We got the little adventure ticket with was a brilliant price if your a little short on money and there is still enough to do. Would definitely go back.

We had a fantastic day at Whistlestop Valley. There was so much for children to enjoy, including the train rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, pedal cars, and sand play. The facilities were excellent, and the whole site felt very family-friendly. A great place to spend the day making memories with little ones.

Love the place. Just a nice day out for the family. Nice atmosphere and never too busy. Felt compelled to post a Google review after watching the The Spike Bonzo Show at Shelley Station though as it was possibly one of the funniest family shows we have seen in years. Getting 15 toddlers to sit down and pay attention for 20 minutes is an amazing feat but having them rolling with laughter, with all the parents too, was one heck of an achievement.

We stumbled upon this place while in the area, and thought we'd see if it was open as it was Easter weekend. We got a friendly and welcoming greeting and the lady explained about the train rides and our options on the timetable. Dogs are welcome here so that's a bonus. Lovely cafe here and a gift shop. There was an Easter event on for the children, which looked great fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are so glad we found it. Huge free car park too. Definitely 10 out of 10 for the Whistle Stop Valley Railway.

Me and my 5 year old had an amazing day here. So much to do. Got here 10am still going at 4pm. Long train ride. Nice cafe. Good icream at the end of the line. Loads of toys to play with, outdoor playground. I think we went on a out 8 train rides. Incredible value for money. And if it's raining... don't worry. Lots of indoor space and seating.
