As a regular attendee of the Enfield Pageant of Motoring since 2023, this event has firmly established itself as a staple on my yearly automotive calendar. For the 47th annual show, held across the weekend of May 23rd–24th, 2026, the turnout of machinery was as breathtaking as ever. The sheer volume of vehicles on display was formidable, easily hitting the 800+ classics mark. The absolute heart and soul of the display belonged to Whitewebbs’ own magnificent fleet of historic commercials, delivery vans, and vintage buses, supplemented by a diverse turnout of proud private owners, hot rods, and modified classics. The main arena action was spectacular, offering high-octane live motorcycle stunt performances and classic car club parades that drew massive cheers. Layout and Organisation - Having tracked the evolution of this event over the last few years, the biggest structural drawback this year was the vehicle layout. Compared to previous iterations, the cars felt noticeably disorganized. Instead of being grouped cleanly by era, marque, or country of origin which allows enthusiasts to truly appreciate the historical timelines the layout felt heavily fragmented. Trudging through hundreds of acres of baking grass under a punishing sun turned a joyful hobby into a grueling ordeal. The sheer physical toll of the heat meant that almost all attendees and many exhibitors were completely drained by midday. It was a horrible situation where it became physically impossible to give the classic cars the close, leisurely glance they so deeply deserved. Everyone was simply hunting for water, ice cream, or a sliver of shade under an awning.

Not been for years and it was good to be back. Slightly eccentric opening times but worth planning a visit. I am temporarily using a crutch, so the new lift to the top floor is a great addition. I also went down into the basement and saw the well.

If I could come every day to stay and explore each floor a day and always start over, I would never get tired of it. I met extraordinary people on each floor who knew so many things! The mushroom soup at the Coffee Shop was super delicious and simple. I went back in time. I woke up the child in me. I can't wait to come back!
