First visit, lovely place, staff great and a fab cafe. Worth a visit, they have lots of events.

Visited as a halfway point on my cycle ride. In one word ... Charming. Nice cafe, eat in or out, when I Visited there were people shunting "vintage" steam trains up and down the tracks. Good food, reasonable price, very tasty. Good stopping point and felt very comfortable there, think its staffed mainly, maybe not exclusively, by volunteers, all very happy to help.

We have just returned from a nice midweek break here. Lovely surroundings and the proximity to the campsite is perfect, just a hop and a skip away! We found the facilities adequate, very clean and well presented, that said they sadly would not suit us in the colder months as the showers would be a bit too chilly for me (not contained so draughty) but that's just my opinion. We enjoyed drinks and a delicious homemade sausage roll at the railway cafe. Super friendly service and lots of space to relax and take in the surroundings. The site has some adorable places onsite other than caravans and space to set up your own van or tent, such as a beautiful shepherd's hut and a fairy tale style cottage. We look forward to seeing this site as it develops over time and truly would love to visit should we be down in Norfolk again in our van. Thanks for having us and for helping us out when we realised our battery was flat!

Stayed on the campsite and visited the cafe. The location is lovely and there has obviously been some investment in the campsite, the hard standing is great. Toilet and shower functional. The cafe was very good value for money and a great vibe. We did have a great time cycling on the Marriott trail which was great. Visit the urban jungle that was also great experience.

Hidden gem in Norfolk countryside really does sum this place up, not massive amounts of track or trains to run, we went on a day that they weren't running between xmas and nye, the facilities are lovely and clean, modern enough and the bar / cafe / venue room is fantastic, food brilliant and prices very affordable. Plenty of space for a picnic outside and dogs welcome everywhere. Free to park and you can walk out on the old train line track bed which is a wonderful walk for you and dog(s). Will certainly be returning in sunnier climbs and maybe try and visit on a steam day which is first Sunday of each month.
