I visited Wiggleys with my toddler and family twice, on the 13/6 and 14/6, due to the Dragon Ride. Wiggleys is a lovely place but I was very disappointed with the care provided to the rabbits (I've had many). Rabbits need a constant supply of hay to control their constantly growing teeth, and to prevent their stomach function grinding to a halt (GI stasis, a killer of many rabbits). There was no hay whatsoever available to the rabbits. The rabbits also had a largely free supply of pellets, which should be given to rabbits in limited amounts because it makes them quite full and discourages them from eating hay. I was also disappointed that there was very little bedding down - meaning that the rabbits were prone to getting urine scalding on their feet. One of the rabbits had visible sores on his body. One of the donkeys and sheep also looked worse for wear. The sheep had immensely large coats that certainly meant they were too hot in the summer weather.
Very fun place! Lots of goats, cute sheep and ponies. Only one pig who was sleeping, but our one year old son had a fun time. There's lots of outdoor playground equipment and indoor as well.
We visited Wiggleys Fun Farm today and had a really lovely time overall. The entry price is very reasonable, and while it’s not the biggest farm in terms of the number of animals, there’s definitely enough to keep little ones entertained. What really makes this place worth it is everything else alongside the animals. The woodland surroundings are beautiful for a wander, and the outdoor park is great for kids to burn off some energy. The indoor play area alone would honestly justify the entry fee, so having the farm animals as well feels like a bonus. There’s also a little section inside with push-along cars on a track, which was a huge hit—my almost 2-year-old absolutely loved it! It’s well set up for a range of ages, so older children would enjoy it just as much too. All in all, a fun day out for all ages and definitely somewhere I’d recommend!
Great play area and farm with excellent service. Offers both indoor and outdoor activities, some food options available, clean restrooms, plenty of seating with tables, and even a party room. Children can learn about and interact with animals. They can also feed rabbits, goats, a donkey, and small ponies.
Lovely little farm. Kids enjoyed seeing the animals, fun outdoor and indoor play areas. I had a 19 month old and 4yr old with me, they had a great time. Café was reasonably priced in today's economy and decent amount of chips to complement the sandwiches we took with us. Would recommend if you want something to do for a few hours with the kids.
