Willenhall Memorial Park is a beautifully regenerated community space established in the 1920s as a tribute to local First World War servicemen. This award-winning park has held the prestigious Green Flag accreditation since 2008 and features diverse landscaping with a wide variety of trees, plants, and shrubs throughout its accessible grounds. Families can enjoy numerous facilities including a children's play area with wheelchair-friendly roundabout and play bowl, free splash pads (open weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays from 11am-5pm until August 2026), a skate park, multi-use games area, and an outdoor gym with wheelchair-accessible equipment. The park is exceptionally inclusive, with hard tarmac-surfaced paths that accommodate wheelchairs, mobility impairments, and pushchairs, plus accessible toilets and parking facilities. Beyond play, the park offers sports facilities including cricket pitches, football fields, and tennis courts, an enclosed dog park, community pavilion, fishing pools, and a historic bandstand with ramped access. With over 60 benches positioned throughout and multiple accessible entry points, Willenhall Memorial Park welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities to experience outdoor recreation, community activities, and green space leisure.

Did a craft fayre at the carnival... Could have done with toilets in a couple of places as had to walk quite a way.

What a good place to spend a few hours with the kids. The park is ok with the water on but was too cold to go in it for us. However tiolets are on site and kinda clean. But good for us. Definitely didn't have tiolet roll which isn't ideal having 2 girls, this could be due to no staff around there.

Willenhall Memorial Park is around 10 to 15 minutes walk from the newly opened Willenhall Station, when passing on foot via Willenhall Town Centre. There is sculpture trails, at least two lakes (one for fishing), a play area and a bandstand.

An oasis of calm, bird song, nature and art installations. Surrounded by poplar trees and a variety of British species Willenhall Park is a real find. Highly recommended to visit with children , dog walks or just to sit and listen to the songs of nature. There is a wonderful bandstand , a rose walk , toilets. Easy to walk into the town , call in at one if the cafes for a coffee before exploring some of the towns history. One of the friendliest places on the planet , Willenhall has a lot to offer if you care to look. Market days are also worth a visit.
