Great place for walking the dogs off lead. Parking is free. There are picnic tables at the start and a nice circular walk around the lake on a good path. However there are plenty of opportunities to go off grid and follow other trails. During winter months it's lovely and quiet with heritage plaques to read around the trail.

An excellent walk in nature, it was lovely hearing the birdsong and the crack of leaves underfoot.

Willesley Wood is a lovely place to walk. There are paths that weave through the woods and around the lake. It is dog friendly, unfortunately, no bins, so you have to take all your rubbish home, including your dog poo bags. No bicycles are allowed. For a relaxing peaceful walk on your own with the family or just you and your dog, it's the ideal place. There is plenty of free parking.

Beautiful little wood, mostly people walking dogs but we enjoyed our morning stroll too before heading off to Conkers with kiddos. Really peaceful with the wood, meadow and lake.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! We actually found it by accident cause we took the wrong turn but so glad we did. It's really tucked away. Parking is free just near the entrance on the side of the road. There's space for about 4-5 cars and further spaces up and down that road. When you enter you think ok so small woodland park, nothing too exciting, then you pass the Rememberance Garden down the trail and boom you are seeing forest, fields and big lake with lots of birdies and vegitation. Honestly it is just beautiful and so peaceful 😍 Must see! The doggies loved it so we are definitely going back!! 🥰
