A sweet piece of history in a quaint town. Worth a visit on your way to the Jurassic Coast and beyond. Volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and clearly devoted to the upkeep of the model town. It's a place built on the love its volunteers have for it and this is reflected in the experience there.

Well worth a walk around, the staff are mainly volunteers and are lovely and helpful. Make sure you visit the cafe, we had a cream tea and it was very nice indeed. Your entry ticket is valid for 12 months so you can go back for another visit. You can buy tickets in advance but we didn't do this.

Absolutely loved it!! It was so much fun and definitely brought the childish side out in me and my husband! Plus we did a free quiz whist walking round and got 14/16 correct so received two silver stars and two stickers!! 😁 Staff are friendly and welcoming. And the tickets are valid for a year so it's definitely worth going back again and again.

A nice day out (couple of hours) with the kids. Lovely miniature village of Wimborne, with quaint, detailed houses and shops from yesteryear. The kids (or adults) can participate in a festive competition as well as a 9-hole crazy golf for £2 extra. There is a souvenir shop + cafe for refreshments. I understand the place requires maintenance, with gardening & flowering too, and some of the monies probably go to local charities, but the entry price for adults and kids is a little expensive. However, there is a family offer for 2+2 where you can save a few pounds. All in all it's a nice day out and you can reuse the ticket up to 1 year after if you happen to be local or are passing through again.
