Booked our selves in for a double sit on top kayak. They give you life jackets, a place to store any belongins and a quick demonstration of what to do before you set off onto the lake. It was £35 for the 2 hours which is great value for money and it gives you plenty of time to explore around the islands.

Had a fantastic time paddleboarding, thanks to the team at WCK! It was my husband's 30th birthday, and we were a large group, but they made us feel very welcome and catered to our needs! We had a wonderful time on the water, and really enjoyed our experience!

We visited Windermere Canoe Kayak today as a family (myself, my husband, and our teenage son) and had a brilliant time. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organised, we were quickly kitted out with high-quality equipment and helped safely into our boats. Our guide, Kitt, was excellent, taking the time to give us clear tips on paddling techniques which really helped us feel confident on the water. We did the 2-hour canoe/kayak tour, and it was a perfect way to explore the lake. Kitt took us to several points of interest around Windermere and shared lots of interesting information along the way. He was also kind enough to take some photos for us, which was a really nice touch. It was a lovely, relaxed morning and a great experience for all of us. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to try something a bit different outdoors!

Really good value kayak rental and really helpful and friendly staff. £32 hire gave me two hours on the water with a really well kept double kayak and all the kit. The launch ramp is really nice with rubber matting so you don't have to have aqua shoes nor worry about tipping over and getting wet 😅 I believe it's about £60 for all day rental, great value allowing you to explore in your own time and get out onto the various shorelines (though stay away from the private islands 🥺) the staff can't reiterate it enough. I'll happily visit again next time I'm in Windermere 🥹

What a great day! We arrived early, filled out the paper work under 5 mins as it was only two of us. There were clear directions on where we should go but no maps to go with, maybe having some spare maps would be good. The sights were really good and it was very relaxing. The place was a bit tough to find coming back so I suggest taking a photo of it on the kayak as soon as on the water so it’ll look familiar when returning. I hope the business can add signage at the back of the building so kayakers can find their way back.
