Kinda disappointing tbh wasn’t impressed by the druggie den and needles in the bushes right opposite the (full of toddlers) kiddies park - needs to be routinely checked considering the risk to children. Mind your kids if u visit please don’t let them wander

A public green patch with mature trees, playground surrounding the local landmark, Brixton Windmill. A modern community and heritage centre on the site arranges local walks, events, workshops and serves refreshments. Commendable venture that’s a boast to the organisers and a boon to the local community. Unquestionably warrants a visit.

A lovely, quiet place to visit which is a surprise to find in the middle of urban housing. Fascinating history and informative guide boards about the windmill. The gardens have a few benches to sit on and space to play or exercise on. Will return for another visit at one of the Windmill events.

This is a great place to see a real life functional windmill in London. There is also a cosy cafe to buy traditional cafe food and also freshly milled flour.
