Great park, nice woods to wall around with the children. Cafe food is good. Dog friendly. Few benches for a picnic and alot of grass area too. Would recommend!

Lots of space for your little ones, 2 playgrounds (for smaller and bigger kids). Restaurant with amazing oreo milkshake ;) and lots of other, tables inside and outside. Dog friendly. For short stay and long day trip too, woods around will change your inner bateries and let you relax. There is small pond next to the old council building where you can spot a wild life.

A hidden gem for dog walkers, just off the M5. Very handy if you're travelling with your dog(s). Very quick to get to and back onto the M5 with some quite extensive woodlands where you can off lead your dog (and nearly loose one in our case). Easily spent an hour walking round before topping up on caffeine with a pretty decent coffee from the cafe. The free parking is a bonus too.

It's a great multi purpose area, woods, meadows, playing field... perfect for families. I would just add that if you're looking at the trails, I imagine the 40 mins each is based on having children with you as it only took me just over 40 mins to do both.

Car park is big enough to park fairly easily in the week, and it's free as long as you are using the Country Park or the Cafe. There is a clear warning at the entrance it's not for Council or Hospital users. They are using ANPR to enforce. This place is a fantastic place to walk your dog, but a caveat if have a canine reactive dog... you should be aware that there are some dog owners who have no recall of their off lead dogs and they will end up coming into your dogs space. This becomes a problem with "pinch points" like kissing gates or narrow footpaths, but once you get into the open spaces, it's much more manageable to keep out of their way. There are dog poo bins around, but are few and far between, which is understandable. There is a cafe near the car park, but I didn't use it, but they allow dogs and inside and outside, but dogs inside need to be quiet and well behaved.
