Stopped by for a morning hot chocolate and left feeling like I’d reached the peak of my existence—literally. The staff were so friendly I almost forgot I hadn't had my caffeine fix yet, and the prices were low enough that I didn't even have to check my banking app in a panic afterward. The real 'spin' on the morning was climbing to the top of the windmill. I went up for the view and stayed because I needed five minutes to convince my legs they weren't actually made of jelly. A great spot if you like your cocoa with a side of historical cardio!

My 40th birthday dinner party at Millstone Barn was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the very first enquiry to Josh, the communication was excellent—clear, prompt, and so reassuring. Every question was answered quickly, and I felt completely confident that my celebration was in safe hands. On the night itself, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making the evening special. Nothing was too much trouble, and they struck the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was delicious—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and enjoyed by every single guest. So many of my friends and family commented on how incredible the meal was, which made it even more special for me as the host. The whole evening ran seamlessly, and I was able to truly relax and celebrate this milestone surrounded by the people I love. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I couldn’t have chosen a better venue to mark such an important occasion—an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever.

Visited the tea room, lovely people, had a delicious hot chocolate and a small breakfast, cooked really well. Its a bit out of the way, has loads of small independent shops near the windmill and the tea room. I would recommend a visit.

Our best friend’s Rhea’s baby shower at Wymondham Windmill was made truly special thanks to Josh and Matthew, who provided outstanding service and the most beautiful afternoon tea. The extra special touch of a glass of bubbly made the afternoon even more memorable. From the very beginning, Josh made the whole planning process incredibly smooth and was always on hand to help with any requests we had. Nothing felt like too much trouble. The barn itself is absolutely stunning, set within the most amazing scenery, which created the perfect setting for such a special celebration. We would 100% recommend Wymondham Windmill and would love to hold another event there for family or friends in the future. Thank you again, Josh and Matthew — you both did an amazing job and let us make wonderful memories

A lovely countryside setting in a small village with public footpath nearby. Apartment was very well presented, comfortable, clean and spacious. Nice little café and shops on the site too. Local pub was amazing, great service, drinks and food choices. Definitely will visit again. Entrance to Oak room and office shown.
