The first thing that struck me walking into Xcel Bowl was the cleanliness — genuinely outstanding, and sets the tone for the whole place. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and the prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable. The kids absolutely loved it and we ended up spending several hours bowling — always a good sign! A brilliant family day out in Carmarthen. We'll be back.

Very family friendly environment. The bowling is great, the interactive ball wall is amazing. The cafe is very nice with good food at good prices. Great place to visit. Very friendly staff, great place for people with additional learning needs.

What a fabulous place . Great atmosphere for all We pre booked bowling and had a fabulous time Ordered lunch. Food was really reasonable and really tasty We had 2 double burgers, one stuffed jacket potato and one curry and rice Came to just under £60 with drinks And .......... Heads up to the staff. Came here as we we are staying in Carmarthen visiting family. It was a wet and miserable day and we were looking for something to do with our children (5, 2 and baby), and both our boys enjoy bowling. It looks rather run down from the outside, but inside it is a different story - lovely and modern. It is all set on one level. Plenty of bowling lanes. I had thought the bowling was pricey (we went on a weekend, so peak time) BUT what I didn't realise was that there was also a soft play here which was free (and very clean). It was just the right size for my kids, and built in a way you could actually see them at all times. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and made a few little friends. There were nice sofas for the adults to sit and watch. The food and drinks were genuinely nice and very reasonably priced, especially the kids menu. We ended up being there for over 3 hours, and didn't even get round to playing the interactive football game or using the arcade machines. The staff were friendly. The only thing that let it down slightly was the toilets were a bit run down. We will definately be coming back.

Had a lovely time, no waiting, staff friendly, clean and tidy and even though busy it didn't spoil our time there. Really enjoyed our time. Thank you Xcel Bowl
