About this event
A Christmas Ship is part of the programme at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Step aboard HMS Warrior and travel back in time to a cold and crisp Christmas eve in 1863. Meet with Father Christmas and receive a festive gift and join the crew as they prepare for a festive celebration in true Victorian style.
What to expect:
- Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2026, slots 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm
- Meet Father Christmas in the Captain's Cabin and receive a special Victorian gift
- Brass band carols, hand bells and a Victorian magic lantern show
- Parlour games, Victorian Christmas crafts, deck games and a Christmas present trail
- Dress up like a Victorian sailor
