About this event
Abominable Snowman is part of the Christmas programme at Creswell Crags, the Ice Age caves near Worksop.
In the cold days of the Ice Age, long before Santa, what did Stone Age people think lived in the dark depths of the caves during winter?
What to expect:
- Sundays 29 November and 13 December 2026, sessions at 10:15am and 11am
- A Stone Age guide leads you into the deepest cave for tales of winters long ago and an interactive cave experience
- Meet the mysterious (but friendly!) Abominable Snowman, who "may even have a magical gift for each child"
- Each session lasts approximately 1 hour, including the walk to the cave
- Not suitable for under 5s, due to the cave's health and safety restrictions
- Steps, uneven surfaces, low ceilings and a low tunnel; get in touch before booking if access is a concern
- "£10 per child" and "£8 per adult"
