About this event
The Autumn Craft Fair is part of the programme at High Salvington Windmill, a volunteer-run working windmill at High Salvington, three miles north of Worthing town centre. “We welcome many crafters to our grounds in September each year.”
What to expect:
- Sunday 5 September 2027. “Gates open at 1 pm” and the afternoon runs to 5pm
- “We usually host talented quilters, sewers, knitters, carpenters, jewellery crafters, card-makers, stained glass artists, jam-makers, and more”
- “Why not come too and maybe even start your Christmas shopping?”
- Crafters set up in the mill grounds
- Light refreshments including homemade cakes, teas, coffees and ice cream on hot days, and a souvenir shop selling pocket-money souvenirs
- “The field is grassed, so wheelchairs may be unsuitable after wet weather.” Toilets are on site
- The mill's craft selling began in 1989 as a stall at the fete; the separate September fair came later
