About this event
The Avoncroft Living History Festival is the museum's big re-enactment weekend at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings near Bromsgrove.
It’s time…..to Time Travel! as Avoncroft Museum will come to life as over 40 of the best in Living History re-enactment groups set up over 40 camps in and around the historic buildings, representing life from the Stone Age, through the Viking era to the 1940’s and beyond.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April 2027, 10am until 5pm
- Over 300 re-enactors across the 19-acre site, with lots of hands-on activities
- Historically themed market and trader stalls
- Meet the Authors talks in The Mission Church; music and dance in the Guesten Hall
- Vintage Fun Fair, Miniature Train Rides, Free Parking, Dog Friendly
- Early bird tickets available now; groups and timetables published nearer the time
