Book Fair

Book Fair is part of the programme at High Salvington Windmill, a volunteer-run working windmill at High Salvington, three miles north of Worthing town centre. “Every year we hold a special afternoon for book enthusiasts.”

What to expect:

• Sunday 6 June 2027, 2:30pm to 5pm, in the windmill grounds
• “Novels, history, travel, sport – our book fair has something for everyone.”
• “The windmill took over the well-established book fair, which had previously been run by a local group for charity, some ten years ago.”
• An open afternoon with the book fair in the mill grounds, and the mill itself open
• Light refreshments including homemade cakes, teas, coffees and ice cream on hot days, and a souvenir shop selling pocket-money souvenirs
• “The field is grassed, so wheelchairs may be unsuitable after wet weather.” Toilets are on site
• Donations wanted: “We are seeking fiction and non-fiction, mostly in paperback and do not need reference works.”
