The Brockholes Winter Celebration is part of the programme at Brockholes Nature Reserve near Preston, run by The Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
An evening of fun, fire and festivities inspired by the Roman festival of Saturnalia: Roman displays, Christmas magic, live music, a bonfire and lots of family fun.
What to expect:
- Saturday 19 December 2026, 5:00pm to 8:30pm, staggered entry
- Free Roman Legion Training School for children at 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm, booked with your entry
- Meet Father Christmas, Punch and Judy, magic shows, face painting and carnival games
- Christmas market, carnival drumming, bonfire at around 7pm and a torchlit procession
- Under 16s - £12.99
- Adults (16+) - £7.99
- Under 2s - £1.00
- No prams or pushchairs on the village
