Christmas Evening is part of the events programme at Beamish, The Living Museum of the North, in County Durham.
An enchanting evening at Beamish: merry music, delightful decorations and delicious festive treats. Explore decorated homes and shops on the Edwardian town street, wander through Elf Wood, try the Christmas crafts and browse the 1900s Town stalls and the 1950s toy shop.
What to expect:
- Evenings of 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 December 2026, 5pm-9.30pm
- Adult: £25.50, Child: £16 (under 2s free)
- Beamish Unlimited Passes and Friends of Beamish memberships are not valid for evening events
- Tickets must be pre-booked online and are not sold at the museum
- Evening Grotto add-on: meet Father Christmas at Rowley Station Goods Yard, £10 per child (0-16 years), includes a small traditional gift
- Twinkling lights, musicians playing festive tunes and seasonal treats under the night sky
- Largely outdoors - hats, gloves and warm coats
