About this event
The Classic Cars and Scalextric afternoon is part of the programme at High Salvington Windmill, a volunteer-run working windmill at High Salvington, three miles north of Worthing town centre. “An exhibition of classic cars in the lovely setting of a heritage windmill.”
What to expect:
- Sunday 1 August 2027, 2:30pm to 5pm, in the windmill grounds and granary
- “the guys from WHO Racing set up their tracks inside our granary for enthusiasts to try their hand at racing mini cars”
- “The afternoon also features many classic cars, shown off by their proud owners, who are always happy to talk car with fellow enthusiasts.”
- “Entrance is just £1.00 per adult, with accompanied children free. An optional tour of the mill will cost another £1”
- “Teas, delicious homemade cakes, and ice cream are available.”
- “The field is grassed, so wheelchairs may be unsuitable after wet weather.” Toilets are on site
