EVERY THING MUST GO by Joe Lycett

EVERY THING MUST GO by Joe Lycett is part of the programme at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.

The first major solo art exhibition by comedian Joe Lycett: dozens of new paintings of deceased celebrities, extinct animals, discontinued chocolate bars and destroyed buildings, in a tongue-in-cheek and childlike style he calls a neon graveyard.

What to expect:

• Open until 21 February 2027
• Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm; open every day during Birmingham school holidays (24 October - 1 November)
• Bold salon-style display inspired by objects from Birmingham's collection
• Free entry
• The museum's event pages advise that work in this exhibition does include some strong language
• Family drop-ins are held inside it during half term
