About this event
Learn how to use a wooden loom to weave seed pods, beads and other botanical materials onto linen thread and how to finish them off with a secure metal fastening. Materials included. Workshops run for 2 hours and take place in the entrance hall of Godolphin House. Tea, coffee and snacks are included in the ticket price. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the workshop.
What to expect:
- 16 December 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00
- "Not suitable for children under 12"
- Please show printed or electronic confirmation of your tickets at the Welcome hut on arrival.
- "Please bring along an apron or wear clothing you don't mind potentially getting dirty."
- Accessible to wheelchair users. Limited access to the rest of the house but large print guide, BSL tours on tablet, photo album and easy read guide are available at the welcome hut.
