Home Ed Day is part of the programme at The Postal Museum in London. A festive day of activities inspired by the popular children’s book – The Jolly Christmas Postman. It is a discounted day for home educating families, with the museum open to the public at the same time.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 16 December 2026, with Mail Rail timeslots at 10:00, 10:30, 13:00 and 13:30
- Choose your Mail Rail timeslot on the calendar when booking
- All visitors require a ticket. Companions and under 2s go free but need a ticket
- Events have a recommended age range, but all are welcome
- Sorted! The Postal Play Space can be added for children aged 8 and under
- Interactive sessions are inclusive. Facilitators use Makaton, and there is a break-out area for children to access if needed
- Individuals can book up to 8 tickets for Home Ed events
