Home Education Workshops (7-12 yrs) is part of the programme at the National Coal Mining Museum for England, near Wakefield.
Home Educators are always welcome at National Coal Mining Museum. Every month you can get a deeper understanding of the museum with our specially tailored workshops.
What to expect:
- Wed-Fri 4-6 November 2026, 27-29 January, 3-5 March, 28-30 April and 23-25 June 2027
- Sessions 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-3.30pm
- "The workshops are aimed at children aged 7-12 but is not exclusive to those ages and we welcome older and younger siblings."
- November theme: making a light-up house lantern for the 21 November lantern parade
- Siblings under five come free; adults do not need to book
