About this event
Home Educators at Ryton Pools Country Park is part of the Warwickshire Country Parks ranger programme at Ryton Pools Country Park. Calling all home educators! Join in for some fun activities in the woods and park. Every month will be different.
What to expect:
- Fridays 13:00-14:30: 23 Oct, 6 Nov, 20 Nov, 4 Dec, 18 Dec 2026 and 15 Jan 2027
- Activities range from pond dipping to cooking over a campfire, reading a map to hunting for mini beasts
- Ranger-led, with all the equipment provided
- Children's events are aimed at 3-12 year olds; under-5s need more supervision
- A ticket is required for every child taking part; children must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult to 3 children)
- Meet outside the Visitor Centre/Education Centre; dress for all weathers
- Booking essential; no dogs; car parking is pay at the machine by card
