About this event
Knight School is part of the 2027 school-holiday programme at Pembroke Castle. Sir Benfro of Pembroke Castle and the Merrymakers Knight Trainers put children through their paces for the chance to become a Castle Knight.
What to expect:
- 10 dates in 2027: 23, 30 Mar; 1 Jun; 20, 22, 27 Jul; 3, 10, 17, 24 Aug
- Four sessions of around 50 minutes, at 11:00, 12:15, 2:00 and 3:15
- Dress up as a Knight or Knightess and march in the Merrymakers Procession
- Learn to swear allegiance, bow and curtsey, storm the Castle gates and learn sword skills
- "Activities are supervised but a parent or guardian must be present at all times with children taking part."
- "This event is free with castle admission."
