About this event
Lanterns of the Wild is part of the programme at Twycross Zoo near Atherstone. An all-new route through over a mile of dazzling light, where thousands of handcrafted lanterns transform the zoo after dark, through glowing jungles, frozen forests, volcanic landscapes and underwater worlds.
What to expect:
- Evenings from 6 November 2026 to 21 February 2027; the lantern trail opens at 4:30pm
- Takes around 60-90 minutes; step-free, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs
- Adult from £19.00
- Child from £13.75
- Zoo and lanterns bundles and a VIP option are also sold
- Animals are not on view in the evening; rides and food cost extra
- Dress warmly - the trail is outdoors; no scooters or bikes on site
- Parking is £4 per vehicle
- SEN-friendly evenings on four dates
