About this event
Enjoy a festive steam train ride coupled with a sweet treat onboard our Mince Pie Specials. Day Rover Tickets allow unlimited travel all day, and give you the opportunity to break your journey as often as you like at any of the railway’s stations.
What to expect:
- 27th, 28th and 31st December 2026
- Unlimited ALL DAY travel, behind heritage steam locomotive, on a 6 mile round trip
- Complimentary mince pie and hot drink for adults; juice and a biscuit for children
- Stop at Causey for a walk in the wooded valley, or explore Marley Hill Engine Shed
- Join at Andrews House Station (NE16 5ET) or East Tanfield Station (DH9 9UY)
- Tickets must be purchased in advance as no tickets will be available on the day
- Adult (16-59) £19.08, Senior (60+) £16.96, Child (0-15) £5.30; all prices include taxes and fees
