A great afternoon out. Rode the steam train up the valley and then walked back to start. Beautiful scenery, good value food and drinks. Make sure you check the timetables to allow more train rides, as I missed one by 5 mins.

Visited for the spring gala, had glorious weather for it as this is all outdoors. The volunteers are hard working and very friendly people. Lots to see here and a fantastic day out for families, enthusiasts or solo visitors.

Fantastic day out on a great steam railway, ran by volunteers who were all so friendly and chatty. Cafe was a great price and tasty food. You can walk along the river too and Causey Arch is worth a look.
