Nature Tots 2026

Our monthly sessions have a nature related theme. We begin each session with play activities, followed by a story before we go out to explore the Longshaw Estate. Exploring makes you thirsty and hungry so we return to the centre for a drink and snack. Refueled, the children can then participate in some simple craft activities before heading off home.

What to expect:

• 3 dates between 8 October and 10 December 2026, 09:45–14:30
• Suitable for children 2-5 years of age.
• Come prepared for the weather as some of the session will be outdoors. Wellies and waterproofs are great.
• Sometimes we're 'off road' so buggies might not be able to access all areas. Baby changing facilities are available in the centre.
• Meeting point: Meet at the Moorland Discovery Centre adjacent to the main Woodcroft car park.
• Sorry no dogs allowed in the sessions. Our sessions are often oversubscribed. If you are unable to attend a booked session please let us know - 01433 637907
