About this event
Pennywell Magical Christmas Experience is part of the programme at Pennywell Farm near Buckfastleigh, running on select dates from late November to Christmas Eve.
The farm becomes a winter wonderland of twinkling lights and hundreds of Christmas trees for a guided, timed-entry journey ending at Father Christmas's grotto.
What to expect:
- "Your visit is a guided journey of around 2 to 2.5 hours."
- North Pole check-in, then "A live walking Nativity with the Pennywell animals looking on"
- "Meet Father Christmas, with a special gift for every child"
- "New for 2026: Reindeer food, the Post Room & Mrs Claus’ Bakery", plus the Elves' Sweet Shop
- Christmas cuddles with piglets, rabbits, guinea pigs and mice
- "Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked time, as each session starts promptly."
- "Only the top end of the farm is open at this time, so the usual rides and farm activities are not running."
- Wrap up warm; "babies under 12 months go FREE"
