About this event
Relaxed Santa’s Steam Specials is part of Christmas at the Severn Valley Railway.
A gentler version of the Santa steam train and Christmas show for anyone who might find a railway and a stage show overwhelming: lower volume, lighting kept on at a low level, and fewer people around each group.
What to expect:
- Sundays 6, 13 and 20 December 2026, 10am departure from Kidderminster
- The experience lasts at least 2.5 hours, with The Recipe for Christmas show at Arley
- No cuts to the show, just small technical adjustments
- Your own space on the train, and a quieter station on the first train of the day
- Seat allocation is emailed ahead, so no queue at the booking office
- A present for every child; under-twos travel free
- Santa appears in the show but does not meet guests personally
