A step back in time to a bygone era. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful scenery, and such a well kept area. The flowers in Bridgenorth were so beautiful on the bridge. On a personal note, I'd like to say a special "thank you" to the trainee diesel engine driver / qualified steam engine driver (volunteer, full time refrigeration engineer) who helped me out with a flat battery on my Sprinter van at the end of the day.

Visited for the first time with my Dad a few weeks back. Such an amazing experience! Friendly people, lovely gift shops and food! We both loved it. Definitely will be coming back soon!!

It was a lovely day out on the 16th may with my dad as it was my first time going to their diesel garla, I enjoyed it but the only thing I didn't like was the food as it tasted like it was cooked in a microwave but apart from that it definitely was great day out and I would go back again

Had a great time here. We stopped at Highley for the Engine House and did their free tour which was really engaging and informative. It was a lovely day filled with lots of history. We would recommend going on a day when the Timetable isn’t C as there’s a massive gap from midday to about 3pm which meant we weren’t able to actually go all the way to Bridgenorth. I would suggest, starting the day early and making note of all the train times properly so you get the most out of your day!

Popped in briefly just for a quick pint and was met with friendliness from the bar staff. You can sit out in the train station courtyard and watch the steam trains come in and out. It's a period setting so old phone boxes and travel cases nicely placed about, well worth a visit.
