About this event
Santa's Winter Hideaway is part of the Christmas programme at Creswell Crags, the Ice Age caves near Worksop.
Journey into our largest cave and meet Santa in his Ice Age hideaway! Santa’s helpful elves will take you on a walk through the gorge to find out where Santa has hidden himself away at the Crags.
What to expect:
- Saturdays 28 November and 5, 12 and 19 December 2026; sessions from 10:15am
- Festive tales and Ice Age stories on the walk, then time with Santa in Robin Hood Cave; every child is given a gift
- About an hour per session, including the walk to the cave
- Not suitable for under 5s, due to the cave's health and safety restrictions
- Steps, uneven surfaces, low ceilings and a low tunnel; contact the Crags before booking if access is a concern
- The 2:30pm session each day is a relaxed session with less lighting, for children with sensory needs
- "£10 per child includes a gift from Santa"; £8 per adult
