About this event
Welcome to The Polar Express™ Train Ride at Telford Steam Railway, an immersive re-creation inspired by the iconic 2004 Polar Express™ film. Embrace the spirit of Christmas on your wonder-filled trip. Why not wear your PJ’s? Most passengers do!
What to expect:
- 20 dates from Saturday 21 November to Wednesday 23 December 2026
- Trains at 15:15, 16:45, 18:20 and 19:50, plus 13:45 on 5-6 and 12-13 December and daily from 19 December
- Chefs, the Conductor and Santa on board; every passenger gets a Silver Sleigh Bell, a cookie and hot chocolate (ages 3+)
- "The train ride itself is just over an hour but you can expect to be on site over two hours"
- Prices are per seat, the same for adults and children; tickets sold in multiples of two
- Under-3s travel free on an adult's lap
- No parking on site: free park and ride from Ironbridge Park and Ride with a free shuttle
