About this event
The Traditional Annual Fete is part of the programme at High Salvington Windmill, a volunteer-run working windmill at High Salvington, three miles north of Worthing town centre. “Our annual fete is known locally as one of the best traditional village fetes around.”
What to expect:
- Sunday 4 July 2027, 2pm to 5pm, in the windmill grounds
- “plenty of pocket-money games and attractions for children”
- “along with china-smashing, golf, guessing games, stalls selling cakes, a big raffle, Morris dancers, tours of the windmill, refreshments, cakes, and ice cream”
- “The entrance fee is just £1, and that includes a tour of the windmill”
- “You can use a card to purchase game tickets to redeem at the many game stalls. Cash only is accepted at all other stalls.”
- “The field is grassed, so wheelchairs may be unsuitable after wet weather.” Toilets are on site
