About this event
Tunnel Walks are part of the programme at The Postal Museum in London. Explore the 100-year-old Mail Rail tunnels on foot and discover one of London’s best-kept secrets, getting access to tunnels, tracks and platforms that aren’t accessible on the Mail Rail ride.
What to expect:
- Evening walks at 18:30 and 19:00 on selected dates from October to 22 December 2026
- For ages 12+ only. £58 per person, booking required
- The route is around 1.2km and the experience lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes
- Visitors will need to wear the provided high visibility jacket and hard hat for the walk
- Uneven ground in low-light conditions, stepping across rails and up onto platform areas
- From early November a festive detour takes in a small section of the network not usually seen, with a festive scene from Mail Rail’s past
- The Postal Museum and Mail Rail exhibitions are closed when Tunnel Walks take place
