About this event
Walk The Big One is an escorted climb to the 235ft summit of the Big One at Pleasure Beach Resort, Blackpool, one of the world's tallest rollercoasters.
After a safety briefing and kit-up, walkers climb the lift hill, pausing every 50ft to hear how the ride works, and take in the views from the top.
What to expect:
- Fridays 23 and 30 April, 7 May and 4 June 2027, climbs at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm
- "Price: £90.00"
- "Minimum age 12." Minimum height 1.32m; maximum of 6 walkers per climb
- Allow 60 minutes; arrive 10 minutes early at the South Gate Entrance
- Harnesses, helmets and safety equipment provided; sensible footwear with good grip must be worn
- Weather can postpone or cancel a climb
