We had a great time at pleasure beach. We arrived just after lunch and my kids had a blast at Nickelodeon land. Unfortunately this part of the park closed at 4pm instead of 5 with the rest of the park which was really unfortunate. There were also stalls outside the entrance selling drinks and food, but they didn’t allow you to bring any drinks in to the park, which led to wasted money. The majority of the staff were welcoming. Thought it was rather expensive with no real affordable options for carers / people with disability
My son and his girlfriend had a great day! Very short queues on the day and in 5 hrs they had been on all the big rides multiple times! The online pass for all the pictures was well worth the £20 and they got them straight to their phones. The peach magnum from the shop next to the Pepsi max ride was amazing!! Price for chips was extortionate at £7.50 for a small portion of fries and the outside entrance could really do with painting to brighten and tidy it up a bit now. Other than that, we had a good day.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach Team, Overall, we had a fantastic time; the rides were excellent, and despite the windy and wet weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The queues were manageable, and we particularly liked the opportunity to experience the rides in the dark. We enjoyed it so much that we are already planning a two-day visit for next time to ensure we can cover the entire park. However, I wanted to highlight a few areas where I feel the guest experience could be improved: - Food and Drink Policy: We found the restrictions on bringing outside refreshments quite frustrating. We were asked to store three small bottles of soda in a locker, as only water is permitted. For a group of paying guests, this felt unnecessary and made the day much less affordable, especially given the high cost of drinks and unlimited refill packages on-site. - Parking Fees: The on-site parking fee of £18 feels quite steep. While it ensures availability, it adds a significant cost to the day for families and groups. - Locker Pricing: We found the locker charges to be excessive. Having to pay £8 for a medium locker just to store small drinks that were not allowed into the park felt like an avoidable and disappointing expense. We truly had a great day and appreciate the quality of the attractions you offer. However, I believe addressing these pricing and policy concerns would greatly enhance the value and accessibility of the park for your visitors.
I absolutely adore BPB, and I was lucky enough to attend last week for the opening of the brand new ride Aviktas! This is my childhood park and I have visited it for nearly 40 years. It has a great selection of old and new rides, with some of the oldies being proper classics. The food is great, especially the fish and chips place on FY4 Bean Street! I always get the chips, cheese and curry sauce! (Not for everyone I know 😆) The Pizza Pasta place is also really good, and there is a new loaded spud place where the Radio Station used to be (across from Wallace and Gromit). If you want a great day out, in a very fun seaside town, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the place to be!
Came here for the first tin years and was pleased to see the park was looking more cared for. Make sure you pre book as it costs almost double if you buy on the day! You also need to download the pleasure beach app prior to your visit and register your tickets. There's loads to see and some great rides. There were loads of seats around which is fantastic to see. All the staff were really friendly and were so helpful. The park was really clean and and well presented.
